About Archway Fitness

Archway Fitness is a strength-focused personal training gym based in Santa Monica, California. The gym offers personalized training programs for individuals in small group settings and was founded by Coach Jonathan Wiens, who has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. Jonathan has coached in various locations, including Washington, D.C., Denver, Colorado, and Santa Clarita, California. While he has worked with groups as large as 60 people, he has primarily focused on one-on-one coaching. Jonathan boasts a diverse coaching background, having worked with middle schoolers, strength competitors, obstacle course racers, professional athletes, athletes with disabilities, and powerlifting champions. He has also been a presenter on nutrition, recovery, and the significance of strength training and has developed numerous nutrition programs. Prior to opening his own gym in Santa Monica, Jonathan received mentoring from industry experts such as Craig Rasmussen, Alwyn Cosgrove, and Rachel Cosgrove.

Join Our Gym Family


Archway Fitness uses a membership model. Members can choose a plan that includes two or three in person sessions per week. All plans include a personalized training plan. The sessions are personalized, but conducted in small group settings. Members are billed biweekly. The rates below are based on a yearly commitment, but month to month plans are also available for those who are not able to commit to an annual contract. Coach Jonathan is a wonderful trainer. I went through a 90-day Body Breakthrough Program with him and he is super knowledgeable. He is living proof of what he “preaches” and train. If you need a trainer who has knowledge on the entire package (nutrition, strength training, HIIT, stretches, supplements, etc.) to help you be your best self, I highly recommend Jonathan!

Jonathan was my trainer at my gym in Santa Clarita. I am so excited that he has opened his own fitness studio. Jonathan is an amazing personal trainer. He is kind, understanding and patient. With that said, he will push you to be the best you can be. He understands how the body works and he can get you to a level of fitness that you didn’t even know you could achieve. I was fortunate enough to run the Grit race with him. He trained me before the race so I was totally prepared to get over all the obstacles.  During the race when I doubted myself he was there to encourage me to trust my training. I completed every obstacle and crossed the finish line so proud of myself. I would give him 10 stars if it was available. I would 100% recommend Jonathan as a trainer. You will not find anyone better then him!!
